Software for interactive design and work evaluation of secondary cooling zones of continuous casting machines

The paper considers the problem and solution of software developing for scientific researches in the domain of ferrous materials metallurgy. Unlike the existing works on this subject the author offers a complex method that combines project designing and mathematical process simulations on the base of computer technologies. The result is the software product «Injector Cooling» for operational analysis of continuous casting machines with arbitrary construction of the secondary cooling zones.
