Description of beam parameters control and operation software tools for VEPP-5 injection complex damping ring is given in this article. Software consists of two key parts („orbit“ and ,,knob“), each of them includes three types of programs: daemon, service and user GLT-applications, the latter intended for injection complex operational staff. ,,Knob“ is a combination of accelerator control system elements, which makes isolated change of only one choosed parameter (beam betatron tunes, for instance). Discussed in the article are features of this part: creation of ,,knobs“ from user application window or by sending a request to the control system command channel directly, keeping the table of already created ,,knobs“, editing it, and using ,,knobs“ for injection complex operation. ,,Orbit“ includes damping ring beam position monitor (BPM) data processing, displaying of betatron tunes and turn-by-turn beam position measurements from choosed BPM and beam positions inside vacuum chamber along damping ring perimeter, collected from 16 BPM installed on accelerator. Moreover, this software part is intended for damping ring response matrix measurements and creating of the„knobs“ which allows operational staff to conduct assigned changes of beam parameters using this matrix.
