The article is devoted to the 34th US President D. Eisenhower. D. Eisenhower came to the White House in 1952. His 8 year term as President was noted for economic growth, start of post-war boom, cuts in military expenses and the army, introduction of desegregation in state schools and signing the legislation on equal rights of voting for all the US citizens. Eisenhower is still one of the 10 most outstanding presidents in the whole history of the country.
