Origin, genetic codes and haplotypes of Holstein bulls of the lin e Wis Back Ideal 1013415, used in the Oryol region

The study of the origin and genetic characteristics of Holstein stud bulls born in the Russian Federation is of great importance. The studies were conducted in the period from 2024 to 2025 at JSC PH Orlovsky Kolos. The quantitative composition, origin, pedigrees, genetic codes, haplotypes of Holstein stud bulls of the Vis Back Ideal 1013415 line, whose semen is sold by this enterprise, were studied. The genealogical structure of the Holstein dairy herd was studied in the herds of the Federal State Budgetary Scientific Institution Federal Scientific Center of the Breeding and Breeding Complex, JSC Agrofirm Mtsenskaya, JSC OPKh Krasnaya Zvezda, CJSC Kurakinskoye, and others. Of the 39 stud bulls of the Vis Back Ideal 1013415 line, 62.53% were born in CJSC Slavyanskoye, 12.82% in SP Saburovo, 10.26% in OOO Jupiter, 5.13% in SP PH Orlovsky Kolos, and 10.26% came from other regions. All stud bulls underwent molecular genetic testing. Their pedigrees included famous European and American ancestors. Most of the bulls had genetic codes TC TD TL TP TR TV TY, as well as haplotypes, which confirmed the absence of hidden genetic abnormalities.
