Incidents in the districts of the Tobolsk province in the late 1911 - early 1912

The article studies both criminal and non-criminal accidents recorded by the police in the Tobolsk province districts in the late 1911 - early 1912. Particular cases, the Siberian society faced, are described, including such aspects as gender and social status of persons committed crimes. The author analyzes the damage caused in case of exposing, specifies the name and surname of not only a victim but also a perpetrator. The data presented in the article allows to conclude that the regional police structures were obliged to deal with a huge range of cases, often with no direct relation to the law enforcement activities.
