Labor productivity in Russia: socio-economic aspects of evaluation

The current trends in assessing the level of labor productivity in Russia and their socio-economic interpretation are considered, taking into account the features of the integration of the national labor market into the global labor space. The dynamics of changes in labor productivity and wages of labor resources are determined, aspects of structural disproportions of employment are identified. In general, at the present stage of development of the economy and the labor market in Russia, the conservative nature of employment, low intersectoral mobility of labor is noted. Such is undoubtedly reflected in the general tendencies of change in the nature and degree of productivity in the direction of restraining its growth. A number of approaches to assessing the labor productivity index in Russia are considered and their qualitative justification is given.
