Production of methyl alcohol from synthesis gas

The article characterizes the target product - methyl alcohol and the starting substance - synthesis gas. A description of the main technological device and process is provided. In the material balance, the following were calculated: the composition of the gas at the outlet of the reactor, the volume and paint consumption of the substance. The heat balance shows the results of calculations of heat costs with raw materials and the production of reaction products, as well as heat loss. The results of the calculations are presented in general tables.
