Occupational safety as an element of national economic security

The economic security of Russia depends on many external and internal factors. One internal factor is the occupational safety of business entity. In the modern context of unstable economy, the economic security of Russia implemented by safe and efficient activities of business entity is relevant. The research objective is to review the occupational safety of business entity as a component of national economic security. The study presents various types of workplace hazards at the enterprise. The paper describes internal and external threats posed to the enterprise from state, customers, partners, and competitors. The article provides the case studies of threats leading to national major accidents. The author concludes that the activities ensuring the high level of occupational safety of business entity and the national economic security are effective.
