Production capacities of energy enterprises the North-West region: methods of calculation and estimation of efficiency

The aim of the study is the proposal of the updated methodology of calculation of production capacity of thermal power enterprises of the North-West region. The article describes the main factors affecting the production capacity of enterprises, as well as the indicators used to assess its technical (factor intensity and efficiency of equipment) and economic efficiency (capital intensity and capital productivity). In the study, the author estimated production capacity for the existing calculation methods and evaluated their completeness of usage, then offered the author's approach to the calculation of these indicators based on data of large thermal power enterprises of the North-Western region of GUP "N".
