Pork production in the context of the WTO membership of Russia

The article deals with the hog farming industry, which needs a considerable support from the government. Otherwise this industry will turn out to be in a deplorable state. This circumstance is complicated by the WTO conditions, which limit the government actions aimed at the support of the industry. In this event it is necessary to implement a flexible system of domestic producers protection, that would comply with the WTO requirements.
