Manifestation of time competence in difficult situations

The paper reviews the researches studying psychological time of people who perceive life situations differently. It explains the necessity to investigate the time competence in the context of person-situation approach. The authors present the results of the empirical study of the time competence manifestations of individuals overcoming difficult situations in different ways. The paper describes correlation between the time competence indicators and the ways of overcoming difficult situations. The results of the undertaken study improve and specify the understanding of what role the time competence play in a person’s life.
