Manifestations of personality traits and social roles of victims in the mechanism of determination and implementation of crimes

The article considers the range of the most pressing issues examined by criminological victimology, including primarily: the role of the victim in the mechanism of criminal behavior and in situation that preceded this behavior; set of personal characteristics of victims (socio-demographic, psychological, moral, legal, and some others), giving an idea of the reasons for which these persons became victims of crime; types of socio-psychological and other interactions that bind criminals and their victims before the commitment of crime.
