Industrial economy of the Bahmetyev-Obolensky in the end of XVIII - beginning of XX century

The article attempts to examine the mechanism of functioning of the industrial economy of the Bahmetyev-Obolensky in the end of XVIII - early XX century, presented an example of successful entrepreneurship in the non-market environment and a range of restrictive factors. The results of the industrial activities of the Bahmetyev-Obolensky achieved through expanded reproduction, having expressed in the creation of an integrated economy where the agricultural sector was supplemented by different sectoral industrial production. The author considered sectoral structure of the industrial economy of the Bahmetyev-Obolensky, the peculiarities of the development of its most important components: alcohol distilling, sugar production and glass-crystal production. It shows the trend in changing the key indicators. It studied the technical and technological level of the plants, range of products, marketing policy. Separately the author identified the component of artistic production. The conclusion is that in the pre-reform period the industrial economy of the Bahmetyev-Obolensky got rid of a number of feudal restrictions and archaic forms, already functioning according to market rules.
