The industrial business of nobility in beet-sugar Russian branch in the first part of XIX century (based on the Middle Povolzje materials)

The processes of industrial-business activity of nobility in sugar-sweet branch activisation in the first part of XIX century, illustrated by manorial estates of the Middle Povolzje are analysed in the article. The dynamics of quantity change on beet-sugar plants is observed; the location of plants is shown, their belonging is defined. The main parameters of beet-sugar industry, such as: rentability, labour organization forms, ties with market, technic-technological level are analysed. Using the sample of beet-sugar branch, the scecifity of business functions of nobility in context of intensifying of modernized potential in manorial estate is defined. At the same time, it is noticed, that not all manorial estates were involved in such processes. All movement of nobility into business is not observed. The nobility wouldn't be bourgeois in the first part of XIX century.
