The article discusses aspects of the impact of industrial production on the environment on the example of the cement industry and environmental consequences. Of course, there may be a tendency to environmental degradation at the regional level: insufficiently effective work of environmental protection structures; insufficient equipment of the environmental monitoring system; lack of due attention of industrial and municipal enterprises to the state of the environment; low level of introduction of resource-saving technologies in all areas of production.
