The industry of Krasnodar krai in 1937-1940: experience of regional development

This article deals with the problems of industrial development of the Krasnodar Territory since its establishment till the last pre-war year. The features of the functioning of the Kuban industrial sectors during the unfinished third five-year plan are considered. The author analyses its role in general, as well as the value of enterprises, their contribution to the development of the Kuban economy. The promising areas of industrial dynamics of the region on the eve of the Great Patriotic War are defined.
