Industrial espionage and evaluation of effectiveness for industrial companies of modern economy

The article discusses the features of the organization, goals and objectives of industrial espionage in the modern economy. The author’s point of view of the causes and consequences of legalization of information obtained using methods of industrial espionage are given. The main place to the justification of indicators and methods for assessing the economic consequences of the legalization of confidential information about unique resources and technologies belonging to the owner of secrets and their adaptation in the conditions of a competitor company conducting activities for their unauthorized use. Such an assessment can be carried out using the tools of the modern theory of value.
