Industrial guilds of Murmansk fisheries set up by Nikolo-Korelsky monastery in XVII-XVIII centuries

The article deals with the problem of the workmen's cooperative associations' development in Murmansk fisheries of Nikolo-Korelsky monastery. The monastery set up workmen's associations from among patrimonial peasants of the monastery and hired workers - peasants of the Dvinskiy district. Monastery's labor relations with the workmen's associations were ruled by contracts (in a written form) and by traditional mechanisms of the fishery organization.
