Using data from ground-based observations, we have drawn maps of the global distribution of Pc5 geomagnetic pulsation amplitudes at the late stage of the recovery phase of the October 31, 2003 superstorm. An abnormally deep penetration of Pc5 pulsations into the inner magnetosphere was revealed. Thus, simultaneously with the morning classic Pc5 pulsations in the narrow (~63-68º CGM) latitude band, extended along the longitude, in the post-noon sector we revealed two additional zones with the same dynamic spectrum and the oscillation amplitude from the near-polar to equatorial latitudes. The higher-latitude one is a kind of continuation of the morning band, the lower-latitude one is the most intensive in the latitude range of ~50-57º CGM. Oscillation amplitudes in both zones are of the same order; spatially the zones are separated by a very narrow latitude amplitude minimum, change in a phase and sense of rotation of the wave polarization vector. Pulsation spectra in the morning and day sectors differ. This bears witness to different nature of the morning and post-noon oscillations.
