Spatial analysis of land use in Volgograd region

In article from a point of view of geoinformational approach discusses the actuality of the active use of spatial statistical analysis in the study of the spatial structure of the land fund of the Volgograd region. The patterns in the distribution of indices allow to group municipalities by their natural resources, to improve understanding of the land use spatial structure, events and processes which determine the prospects of integrated environmental management.
