Space and development of domestic tourism in the Komi Republic

Development of domestic tourism in the region is considered in context of methodology of the action space. The peculiarities of modern location are presented. There are space problems of tourism: low density and difficult access to tourist facilities, fragmentation of the information field, disconnection of the subjects of tourist activity and weak interaction in use of resources and formation of tourist products chains. The role of ethnic and cultural reconstruction in formation of originality and attractiveness of the region is emphasized.
