The counteraction to corruption: either the repression or digitalization?

On the base of materials of an expert survey conducted in February-March 2020 by the Laboratory of the Law Institute (RANEPA, Rostov-on-Don) and the Scientific and Educational Center for Combating Corruption (RANEPA, Moscow) in 13 subjects of Russia, the authors investigate current issues of the perception of the content of corruption by the population in the modern period. They evaluate the effectiveness of measures aimed at blocking the causes and factors contributing to the preservation and reproduction of corruption; formulate the need to use anti-corruption digital technologies in countering this phenomenon.
