Counteracting political extremism and terrorism: a new look

The article presents the main ideas in the sphere of political extremism and terrorism control. The study is based on the global and Russian political practices. The special attention is paid to the formation of a secure society, the counteracting global threats and risks, since the discussions on these issues are still in progress. Thus, in the context of security, for efficient counteracting against extremism and terrorism the cooperation of the civil society and the public authorities is crucial.
