Countering the preliminary investigation and judicial proceedings on criminal cases: development of the concept

The article analyzes various scientific approaches to determining the nature of counteraction to the crime investigation, the terms used and this phenomenon’s characteristics. The author's opinion on the need to introduce a generalizing concept of "counteraction to preliminary investigation and trial in criminal cases" has been substantiated, a definition has been proposed.
