Counter terrorism in the united states: experiences and challenges

Modern terrorism has acquired international, global character, and has become an international phenomenon affecting the strategic plans of many countries’ development. At the early 21 century the United States of America faced the issue of the country’s security. In order to counter the threats of terrorism the government developed and implemented economic, political, informational, military, and other activities, proving their efficiency at the present stage of the world development. In the future the United States will have to seek new approaches to improve the country’s security.
