Unlawful impact on the person as a form of counteraction to the proceedings in the criminal case

Purpose: To study of some theoretical and legal aspects of countering criminal proceedings carried out in the form of unlawful influence on a person. Methodology: Formal legal methods were used. Results: In this paper, the author determines the place of unlawful influence on a person in the mechanism of countering criminal proceedings, revealing the essence and signs of this phenomenon, as well as systematized methods of counteraction in the form of unlawful influence on a person, and also shows the influence of this phenomenon on the institution of ensuring personal security in a criminal case process. Novelty/originality/value: The scientific and practical value of the article is explained by the fact that the study of the controversial theoretical and legal aspects of unlawful influence on a person is an important step towards improving the mechanism for ensuring the criminal procedural security of an individual and the process of neutralizing opposition to criminal proceedings, which are important areas development of criminal procedure law.
