Contradictions of the Russian federalism on the example of the republics of North Caucasus

This article examines the contradictions of the Russian Federalism. The empirical base of the research is the information about the social well-being of the population of the North Caucasus Federal District, social and economic problems there and about the development of the institutes, which regulates the problem of the state national politics. The author raises the questions of the budgetary federalism and administrative and institutional transformations in management of the North Caucasus region of the Russian Federation.
