In contemporary culture, the museum is one of the most important institutions. Nowadays, the museum is polyfunctional; it enlightens, educates, entertains, and brings aesthetic pleasure. A hermeneutic analysis of the museum space allows one to identify the contradictions of artistic and creative principle, which is present at different scales. In the museum, the genesis of artistic images exists at different levels. The museum can be interpreted at macrolevel as a holistic artistic image that should withstand the rate of cultural changes. In the non-art museum, the desire for entertainment, bringing aesthetic pleasure leads to a situation of temptation by beauty, distortion of reality, disposal of a viewer from the real issues. In the art museum, there is a concentration of artistic images, but they are localized into the language of concepts in scientific texts, tours, and conferences. The perception of an integral artistic image is becoming less popular due to various events and manipulation.
