A contrastive nature of state power (about K. Marx and M. Veber’s points of view)

The article deals with an analysis of K. Marx and M. Veber’s points of view on the nature of state power. According to K. Marx, the state power is factor intensifying the authority of the economically leading class, which in the capitalist society is bourgeoisie. That’s why in the process of a proletariat revolution it is necessary to replace the old forms of the power with the new ones, which will be able to uproot the sins and evils of the capitalist society. The state power becomes an effective way of socio-political reformation of the society, when the governing of the people is performed by the people. As for M. Veber, he considered component of the political structure, which is able to function only when “a legitimate violence” is present, that is, the subordination of one part of the society to the other. Hence, a different evaluation of the thinkers of such elements of the political structure as political figures, parties, state officers is observed.
