Provincial museums in the conditions of the revolution and civil war

The article discusses the activities of museum institutions in the years of the Revolution and Civil war. There was a territorial framework of research in provincial regions of Russia that were under the power of the counterrevolutionary systems for a long time. The authors focused on the preservation of cultural heritage in extreme conditions and on the formation of collections on the history of the Revolution.
