The provocation and the necessity of its legislative consolidation in the criminal laws of the Russian federation as a circumstance mitigating

The article deals with a problem of regulation and consolidation of the responsibility of a person, provoked to a crime, as a circumstance mitigating the punishment in the criminal law of the Russian Federation. Also, the author suggests introducing a “crime provocation" concept, with its appropriate consolidation in the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
