The paper examines two epic prose cycles by Yury Buida “The Prussian Bride” (1998) and “The Zhungli” (2011). Both books are constructed using the same principles of cyclization, which include such items as a metaphorical title, “prevailing” characters, “the image of the little man” as the central character, repeating motifs.
