Pseudomorphs of bioapatite after octacalciumphosphate

The questions, concerning the mechanism of transformations (pseudomorphism) of octacalciumphosphate in bioapatitae in uroliths are discussed. As a result of the researches of structure, morphological features and the analysis of the literature it is revealed, that phosphatic spherulite aggregates and sphere-shaped crystal of monomineral composition in uroliths are pseudomorphs hydroxyapatite after octacalciumphosphate.
