Mental health of children: clinical and social research (review of foreign literature)

In literature review, materials about mental health of children discussed in foreign literature have been introduced. Data on relevance of detection of early forms of mental illness in children and their parents, borderline pathology, contribution of social, ethnocultural factors into formation of mental disorders in children have been presented. Questions of pharmacotherapy, a modern view on application of medical products by children are highlighted. Attention has been paid to questions of quality of life, rehabilitation and social adaptation.
