Psychological concept of loneliness

The article analyzes the existing psychological approaches to the study of loneliness and offers an original author’s alternative psychological concept of this phenomenon, defining it as a mental condition. Here we consider the internal mental mechanisms of the genesis of this state, and external behavioral manifestations, and propose a typology of loneliness, based on this concept application in practice of diagnostic and therapeutic work of many years.
