Psychological aspects of the activities of the public prosecutor in a jury trial

The article examines the psychological aspects of supporting the state prosecution in a jury trial. The problems of counteracting unlawful psychological influence on jurors by the defense are analyzed. Based on the study of judicial practice, a typology of manipulative defense tactics is identified and existing mechanisms for their neutralization are considered. The need for a systematic approach to the presentation of evidence is substantiated, taking into account their psychological potential and the category of the crime in question. Directions for improving the methodological tools for psychological support of the activities of the public prosecutor are proposed.
