Psychological aspects of studying the personality of the criminal in the investigation of crimes

An urgent task of legislators at the present stage of the development of the legal system is to develop a new look at the identity of the criminal in the investigation of a crime. The aim of the work is to analyze biological, social and individual psychological factors that can establish a connection between mental disorders and various types of deviant behavior of a person. The study revealed that to date there are no methodological recommendations for studying the identity of the criminal, allowing to improve the entire system of disclosure of criminal acts, identifying and solving the main forensic tasks.
