Psychological characteristics of human working in railway transport

This article discusses all the characteristics of attention to a greater or lesser extent determined by the typological features of the nervous system. The speed of attention switching depends on the mobility of nervous processes. The stability of attention is determined by the strength of the excitatory process. So, for example, it is more difficult for people with a weak excitatory process (ceteris paribus) than "strong" to cope with tasks that require a long attention span, constant long-term observation. Depending on the working conditions, the characteristics of attention can vary widely. Monotony, for example, weakens attention, and substantiveness, responsibility, the danger of completing a task increases its stability.
