This article examines the issues faced by modern women in balancing family responsibilities and professional ambitions. The study, conducted in Moscow in the summer of 2023, involved 80 women, 30 of whom hold managerial positions. Key factors influencing the psycho-emotional state of the participants were identified, including the fear of success, value system, and the specifics of locus of control. The results show that most women experience pressure to conform to the ideal of the "Superwoman," leading to emotional burnout and a decrease in quality of life. Anxiety regarding professional achievements is present in both groups; however, it is particularly relevant for women in leadership positions who strive for self-actualization. Despite high values such as Love and Health, "traditional" women perceive them as more achievable compared to "non-traditional" women who face difficulties in their realization. The study also revealed a predominance of internality in achievements and interpersonal relationships while an external position was observed in public aspects highlighting the influence of external factors on women's successes.
