Psychological status and quality of life of students of Krasnoyarsk State Medical University

Psychologists consider health as a value for man, a necessary prerequisite for a full life, satisfying his material and spiritual needs, participation in work and social life, in economic, scientific, cultural and other activities. Mental health of a person, his criteria towards the formation being studied by psychologists and clinicians. Violations of physical and mental health of students is manifested primarily in the formation of psychosomatic disorders: vegetative-vascular dystonia, hypertension, functional disorders of cardiovascular activity, functional disorders of the gastrointestinal tract. The results of the QOL studies allow us to compare the effectiveness of various methods of treatment and different rehabilitation programs. QOL is the main criterion for evaluating the effectiveness of therapy in cases where no significant differences in clinical and laboratory parameters between the groups of patients included in the Protocol of a multicenter randomized trial. QOL is widely used in epidemiological studies to assess health status.
