Psychology of attitude toward disabled people according to personal professional orientation

The article reveals the psychological content of such categories as handicapism and handicapness (individual attitude toward handicapped). The author presents the substantive interpretation of the results of empirical study dealing with the manifestations of the handicap-ness by people with different professional orientation (as an attitude towards people with disabilities) by means of questionnaires. The research shows degree of handicapism manifestation.
