Niche sports tourism is a field of tourism aimed at satisfying and developing the sports culture of different groups of tourists with “special sports interests”: with special motives and goals of sports tourism travel. Niche sports practices often relate to extreme sports tourism, team sports, recreational sports travel. Nowadays, niche sports tourism functions and is improving as a separate area that can bring a fairly stable and pronounced income, therefore, interest in it in communities facing hypodynamia, overstrain, bodily degradation processes, and degeneration due to the abuse of digital and biological technologies, due to the processes of bodily commodification, etc., increases. The purpose of the research is to analyze the features of sports niche tourism, to study the specifics of the processes of psychological and pedagogical support of this type of tourism. The modern sports tourism business is going through a period of restructuring and rethinking: the mission of the tourism business as a practice of psychological and pedagogical development of a person is a significant component of its functioning and improvement, than economic and other effects, although this is often forgotten. Niche sports, or rather sports and health tourism, has numerous psychological and pedagogical functions for the prevention and correction of bodily, psychological, social and moral disorders; it can be successfully used to support the development and habilitation of a person.
