The article presents the practical experience of the institution of additional education at the House of Student Youth “Magnit” (GBUDO DUM “Magnit”) on the psychological and pedagogical support of professional and personal self-determination of students at the institutional level. Psychological and pedagogical support is considered by the authors as one of the directions of the Concept of organizational and pedagogical self-determination of students of the Chelyabinsk region for 2020-2024, as an effective assistance to students in the formation of an orientation field of development, implemented in the form of a comprehensive program that includes four blocks of programs and projects in three interrelated areas (personality, professional community and professional activity). Our experience has shown, that only with the purposeful systematic joint work of teachers of professional and additional education, successful professional self-determination of students takes place, a personality is formed, its complete independence in choosing a profession and confidence in the choice made.
