Public power in Russia: concept and evolution

The constitutional reform in Russia allowed us to take a fresh look at the already formed system of local self-government. Now local self-government bodies, along with state authorities, are officially included in the unified system of public power, and the issue of organizing public power is under the jurisdiction of the Russian Federation. The constitutional right of state authorities to participate in the formation of local self-government bodies, the appointment and dismissal of municipal officials has appeared. It became possible to create federal territories.
