Due to the increased length of a large number of 0.4 kV power transmission lines, their sectioning using sectioning points is relevant, as well as the creation of 0.4 kV ring networks with the possibility of automatic backup. Combining the sectioning and backup functions in one device allows you to create a sectioning point with the automatic reserve function, the use of which can significantly increase the reliability of power supply to consumers and makes it possible to create 0.4 kV ring networks. Structural and basic electrical diagrams of the sectioning point with the automatic reserve function have been developed. The functions of the microcontroller control unit for the developed device are presented. Options for placing the device on 0.4 kV power transmission line supports using self-supporting insulated and non-insulated wires are proposed.
