This article will talk about the fact that in the modern world there is an increase in the number of trips to places of life and death of famous personalities. It is noteworthy that this growth is based mainly on individuals who consciously choose to visit places or places associated with a celebrity as the main goal of their trip. The fame and importance of celebrities leads to the fact that their status in the eyes of a certain part of fans becomes like saints. The main purpose of the article is to answer the question of whether it is possible to consider travel, directly or indirectly motivated by a star, as belonging to a new type of religious tourism, thereby recognizing the fact that, for a certain segment of people, worshiping a celebrity is like a religion, or is it just a trend of the times. The article attempts to study the phenomenon of pilgrimage to celebrities simultaneously with the study of psychology, sociology and leisure, in order to understand the motivational factors that involve and push individual pilgrims / tourists to places associated with celebrities...
