Trend of innovative development of oil and gas industry of Komi Republic

This article provides analysis of the practice of application of enhanced oil recovery (EOR) in the world and in the country. It is proved that under the appropriate conditions a reasonable implementation of EOR would fill the missing production volumes, the result is a more efficient use of natural resources in the region. The Komi Republic is one of the oldest oil producing regions, most of the fields have already entered the stage of declining production, so the development of measures aimed at increasing of production of crude oil remains relevant at the present stage.
