Ways to improve the quality of regional budget management in the context of achieving national development goals.

The relevance of the study of issues of improving the quality of regional budget management is associated with the great importance of these issues for achieving the national development goals of the Russian Federation. The purpose of the study is to substantiate the ways of improving the quality of regional budget management in the context of achieving the national development goals of the Russian Federation. Research objectives: to review the literature on the topic of the study; to present the author’s vision of the quality of regional budget management; to assess individual indicators of the regional budget execution for expenditures on achieving national development goals; to formulate recommendations for improving the quality of regional budget management in the context of achieving national goals in modern socio-economic conditions. The results of the study can be applied in the activities of government bodies of the Russian Federation (in particular, the Ministry of Finance of Russia) and financial bodies of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation in the context of improving approaches to the development and implementation of budget policy. The theoretical significance of the results obtained is associated with the possibility of their use in the educational process in higher and secondary vocational educational institutions. The scientific novelty of this study is associated with the author’s approach to considering issues of improving the quality of regional budget management.
