The ways of processing industry development in the Kyrgyz Republic

On the basis of the SWOT-analysis the article discusses strengths and weaknesses of the processing industry of the Kyrgyz Republic that is currently in a situation of transit transfer to the market relations. The data of the SWOT analysis allow the author to determine the goals and objectives, as well as outline the main areas of the processing industry development, which is one of the major budget revenue generating sectors of the Kyrgyz economy. The research data can be applied as a basis of the processing industry development strategy both at the republican and regional levels.
