Ways to improve proceedings on the cases over introducing corrections or changes in civil registration in the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation

Among the categories of cases of special proceedings, one of the most stable and resilient to changes is proceedings on the cases over making corrections or changes in civil registration. Nevertheless, researcher’s attention, study and analysis is demanded by the norms governing the jurisdiction of these cases and the specifics of the subject composition, including procedural characteristics of considering cases on making changes and corrections in civil registration, specifics of making and executing decisions in such cases. This is the reason for the author’s proposals to modernize Chapter 36 of the Civil Procedure Code of the Russian Federation and the Federal Law “On Civil Status Acts”. At the same time, the problem of collision of the norms of the Code of Civil Procedure of the Russian Federation and the Code of Administrative Proceedings on the jurisdiction of cases involving civil registration bodies requires the close attention of the legislator.
